have you tried hitting play and then pausing the video to let the entire thing load?

or is the problem audio/video skips during normal playback?

oh yea i forgot lol......have you tried the normal troubleshooting via closing all browsers and clearing your cookies & cache

yes i have tried that too. I ran ccleaner, atf cleaner, spybot, malwarebytes. I've tried it all. Its not the link, its any video on youtube or anywhere else, such as google video. The video skips more than the audio, sometimes the audio won't skip at all, but the video always does

hmm....

is there something you installed recently that may have caused this issue or have you had this problem for awhile now?

Are you able to watch other video like DVDs on your computer successfully?

Have you updated to the latest ATI Radeon 7000 drivers?

Are you running Windows XP SP3 with all of its updates?

Are you running the latest Microsoft DirectX version?

And most importantly if your are using an IE Internet Explorer type browser or a non-Internet Explorer browser, remember to update your Adobe Flash Player, because the last few days an update came out. Yes you do have to update both of them.

I downloaded DirectX from the link above; went to install it and it asked where I wanted to extract the files. So I went into the folder it saved it in. It was the direct x aug2009 redist. Was that the right one? There were a bunch of zip files dating as far back as Aug 2005. I just looked for the direct x setup and installed it. But how do I know it took. When I hover over the direct x setup file it says file version 4.9.0.904. Isn't direct x 10 the latest version? There was also a directxwebsetup.exe on the site. Should I install that one also or is it the same thing?

I also re-installed the Catalyst Control Center for ATI Radeon and the latest flash player. and the shockwave player. But it still continues to skip. Do you know if my video card is failing?

I use ATT U-Verse. They told me it was pretty fast. Isn't it supposed to be fiber optic, faster than DSL?
