Sounds like a good product, but the name made me skeptical of rogue antispyware. *sigh*

As said, the name just doesn't sit right with me :)

Take care.

Antivirus / Antispyware 2008 / 2009 Russian malware can be removed through the instructions / process at the following links:

It looks like from these web site instructions that any programs that you may need you would first have to download them from another computer and put them on a USB thumb drive.

I have been using and recommending this product for about 4 years now. It is fast and with each version it keeps getting better. It has a free version, a 15-day full version and the paid pro version that you can try. So there is no harm in trying. I never had it mess up or break any software on any system where it was used.

No, what I mean is that I have already found a software that would fix these issues but does this applicaton also provide a fix for this maliciousness.

Dear God, sys requirements back to Win 98? I am sorry but this one is worry some.

In field use, I have found Malwarebytes a bit superior. I have both. If you download the free version then start to un-install it, the un-install pops up a web page with a better deal - $19.95 with the Updates for Life at no additional charge.

Linking to Bleepers for tutorials?! ACK!! Next time, just ask me. ;-)

SAS is definitely not a Rogue product. That's easily verifiable by the number of Experts who recommend it. Also, why would Chris and I offer a deal on it if it was Rogue?! You can also check to be sure of products on the official Rogue list, as well.

Those of you who listed MBAM are correct. It's an excellent program. SAS is, as well. It's just not as comprehensive as MBAM, because it wasn't designed to be. :)
