Sun Trends or Global Warming?

Now you can definitely be in the middle. I'm not saying part your heart to one side or the other but I'd like to hear some feedback.

In a documentary I recently watched, The Obama Deception, it was mentioned that global warming is a merely a theory produced by people who's agenda results in, ultimately, the "New World Order". This seems a bit far fetched, but I couldn't dispel it from my thoughts completely. I feel like the climate change we are experiencing may be a combination of both sun trends and global warming.

"The Sun, like most other astronomical objects rotates on its axis. Unlike Earth and other solid objects, the entire Sun doesn't rotate at the same rate. Because the Sun is not solid, but is instead a giant ball of gas and plasma, different parts of the Sun spin at different rates. We can tell how quickly the surface of the Sun is rotating by observing the motion of structures, such as sunspots, on the Sun's visible surface."

The only problem with theory is that the rotation along the equator happens every 25 days and a full rotation around the poles is every 36 days. These rotations don't occur over centuries but days. This wouldn't be enough to cause such a drastic change here on Earth.

I'm learning toward global warming. What do you think?

I have posted in many other discussions around here over the months on this very thing, so I'll not reiterate in great detail here.

Basically "global Warming" as it is advertised by Al Gore, his liberal cronies and 'scientists' is farce and a huge Cash Cow. Its all about money and power, all of it. The testing ground, "Freon 12" was so successful in duping the American public they had to step it up a notch. That incident cost billions to switch over to an alternative, all for nothing but some piece of mind for duped Americans about the 'Ozone hole' (there never was a problem to begin with) and lot of money in government pockets. I have listened to many personal interviews of high ranking scientists that point blank refuted this entire theory, and this is in fact what it is/was, a THEORY.

The documented evidence over 1000's of years of the earths heating cooling cycles is all one needs to know this is one very large heap of BS, again.... power, money and control. Here are some resource links I have collected.

The amount of money AlGore and his cronies stand to make with the passage of Crap & Tax. Oh, did I mention they have an investment fund on the order of something like $1 billion?

Here's an even better one. Some of the absolute loonies are worried about cow flatulence. I wonder if those same clowns worrying about that are worrying about the Extra CARBON footprint, including exhaled Carbon Dioxide, of the additional 25,000,000 people added by China alone to the world's population each year. OOPS - likely not since China is not affected by any of the agreements, laws, rulez, etc. Oh and don't forget India as well - they are neck & neck with China is added exhalers per year.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by michael on July 3, 2009 at 8:34pm: well the heating of the earth is only caused by the sun. in resent years there has been a jump in sun spots on the sun which is an area on the sun that is hotter than the rest of the surface. i would also like to point out that the sun is entering a new phase of its life which could also be another explanation to the earth heating. some places on the earth are also getting colder. which is why librals now call it global climate change instead if global warming. i would also like to point out that the largest green house gas is water vapor which is 98% of the green house gases in the atmosphere.; ▶ Reply to This

In addition to giving off NASTY carbon dioxide, humans also give off heat. Transfer of Potential energy to kinetic energy. One or two people don't make that big of a difference. But when the pop goes from a billion or so to multi - billions, we are talking about some serious warm-up - due to humans. But, then we never hear any of that from the environmental whacko crowd. Or sponsors of legislation, edicts, agreements, etc. Some of them would much rather scare us with cow farting as a concern. heh.; ▶ Reply to This

It works like this. China produces 25,000,000 million more bodies a year, each of which generates BTU's, CO2, and methane. Global Warming Increases. Hudson Bay remains ice free year round. People from China move to Canada.

China should get educated, but ultimately population control is an individual decision due to the fact that humans have decided to live in a naturally unbalanced world.

Have you heard of Chemtrails? The theory goes that they're putting something into jet planes so that when they fly over the city they're leaving an abnormal jetstream which stays in the air for hours and hours.. This is not normal. The most shocking thing about this however, is that these planes are criss-crossing all over the sky effectively producing man-made cloud cover.
There are also reports of this substance making people sick, giving people blood noses etc..

Dan, I agree (what??) Al Gore is not entirely correct (Although in recent appearances he's been more inline with the scientists), he is probably downplaying the affects of Climate change (just read stuff that's coming out from the United States government). And I have a hard time thinking that everything is just a scam by scientists (there were research coming out in the late 1800 about the subject for christ sake!).

HonRevJoWazzoo: So why would the "loonies" be worried by cattle flatulence? Well it turns out that methane (flatulence) is a much nastier gas than carbon dioxide, it does have a shorter life span in the atmosphere (can't remember how long might be 100 years but not shure) but does trap more heat. But you're right population is a really big problem and a much more pressing issue, but it's hard to control other peoples breaths (and really I don't think breath Co2 is the main culprit here but I may be wrong, haven't done the math yet).

And please people claiming sun spots/the sun is so yesterday, it's been refuted soooo many times.

Wyldrose, yes volcanos actually cause cooling effects. When a volcano erupts it throws massive amounts of particles and gases to the atmosphere (depending on the size of the eruption of course). One of these gases is called Sulfur dioxide, well up in the stratosphere the sulfur dioxide converts to sulfuric acid particles (aerosol) which reflects the energy from the sun. Thus cooling, this happened for example in 1991 and more dramatically in 1815.

Hope that clarified somethings.
But here is my tip to people that neither "believe" or "disbelieve" climate change. Don't listen to me, don't listen to anyone here on a forum. Go read what real scientists have to say, and by real I mean people that have a degree in climatology/meteorology (or related) and not something else like economy (I'm not kidding some of the "experts" that talk against climate change has never done anything related to it)
