Feel free to stop by any GAP store. You will hear all you want :)

This is my first year working in retail distribution and I am shocked at just how mercenary retail gets. We have only got christmas day off work and are expected to be back on boxing day to deliver to the supermarkets!!

BTW what exactly is the big deal about Thanksgiving? We don't have that over here in the UK. In fact we have no bank hols between August 31st and Dec 25th.

Well Thanksgiving is the day of the harvest as well as giving thanks for being alive or for being safe. the list can go on what you are thankful for.

Yeah I worked in retail (Target) last holiday season and we weren't allowed to take any days off from like before thanksgiving till like new years. But I went on vacation from like December 23-January 10th haha. Took a lot of convincing for my boss to let me.

In Thailand, with the religion being Buddhist, they do not celebrate Christmas.

But I try anyway! :)

Take care.

I love Christmas.

That said, it's too early and yet it's being pushed pretty hard in the media. ABC Family is airing a sort of "Countdown to Countdown Christmas", for example...

And I usually burn out on Christmas music two weeks after Thanksgiving and they've been playing it on the radio off and on since right after the elections, so I expect to be burned out by December first.
