It 'may' be more powerful but if you look at head to head graphics comparisons - 360 still usually wins...it can't be just that coders haven't gotten used to it yet can it... I'm thinking there is a bottleneck in the PS3 performance somewhere otherwise why the consistantly inferior or equal graphics...with the power it SHOULD be better but it isn't.

Just wait the game producers know to how make better coded game for PS3, and Grant Turismo 5 show that is a very powerful machine.

i prefer Xbox 360 - it seems to suit my gaming style more.

also xbox live feature is worth the money imo

I do not have a PS3, so I'm going to have to go with 360. There's not any must-haves that are exclusive to PS3 IMO, and the fact that they eliminated backwards compatibility for PS2 games (and there are still good new games coming out on PS2) is the final coffin nail for me.

I don't like paying extra for Live, but I cannot argue with the fact that it does what it is supposed to do well.

PS3, blu-ray is the future, HD-DVD was a big failure.

I don't think Blu-Ray will have that much of a future to be honest. By the time he's mainstream we'll have real and good alternatives in the form of downloadable content and flash based media that can offer far more storage for less cost and physical space. Look at USB flash drives, you can get 64GB onto something the size of your thumb. Optical media is on the way out like floppy discs and VHS.

Xbox 360 simply for Live and the games... I do have both but the PS3 has done nothing but sit for the most part though I did pick up a few games - Folklore, Little Big Planet, Disgaea 3, Uncharted Drake's Fortune and Untold Legends.

PS3 have God Of War and Gran Turismo 5, both very good games.

I own neither, nor generally give a crap about consoles (or gaming for that matter these days), but I'd choose the 360, based purely on the fact that there's far more games for it and far more coming out for it. The majority of games on the PS3 can also be found on the 360 and even the PC, so it's a no brainer when you consider the price and what you get. If you MUST have the best Blu-Ray player on the market though to justify how much you spent on that full HD LCD or Plasma screen TV then the PS3 is the better choice. The 360 is something Microsoft have gotten right in the last few years, dispite it's technical issues that SHOULD NOT have existed.

I was not surprised when Xbox 360 had RROD, and if not more.

Microsoft always keep some failure, for more that they work on it.
