I couldn't listen past the prt where he says we are bringing new transperancy and accountability to the white house...I don;t even list all the reasons why that is BS.
It's like this: They (the Obama regime) have the "front" that they happily put on display to the media and the people, but the real action goes on out of sight and under the table. There used to be a tune years ago that the words went something like "they smile in your face, back stabbers". Ever watch a magician? They are masters at distracting the onlookers so they can get away with the obvious right in front of their face, while you go "Oooo...Ahhhh"... I don't need to say anything more.
Which is no different from any other administration in the history of time. What they say vs what they really do are two completely different things. Don't just say "Obama's team"... refer to ALL former regimes that way. ;-)
However, some are FAR worse then others, but there is truth in what you say. We simply can't be told "everything" we would bail off the planet from fright.

I believe that President Obama has the PERFECT plan for everything said in that conference. Strengthening the security of the internet is something that President Bush and none before him since the advent of the internet would have ever of pursued. I think the New department dedicated to Cyber Security is one that is needed and one that will benefit everyone that uses the internet greatly.
Also, the point that he made about making broadband internet available nationwide is a very, very important plan. Making DSL internet available and cheap enough so that nearly every single person within the Nation's borders has access to an internet connection. Making it nationwide is vital in my oppinion but making it cheap enough so that every person would be able to afford it should not be made fact until the economy has recovered and exited the stage of constant uncertainty that we are currently in.
One last thing. Above EVERYTHING else, our privacy and freedom to do as we please on the internet should be preserved. President Obama's stance on net neutrality is one that i support and something that I trust him to preserve and protect throughout his time in office
I would be surprised if Obama was not re-elected for another term with him being as sensitive to citizens rights and to having citizens participate in the Democracy that has, in my eyes, strayed from its original intentions in the past decades. With Obama in office though this should not get worse, but much better and become closer to the ideal country that i have in my head (yes i know having that is impossible) and that the individual person's rights and freedoms will be preserved (what I love most)
Their are many other topics that i agree with the President on, and a few i dont but discussion about those are for another time and place
