There have been a few and they come in all shapes, sizes, and even sexes.
There are also another kind that I do not care for. They are the ones that start sending you constant invites to join other Web Sites and Social Networks. Once you become their friend here on Geeks then they have access to sending you a Private Message. The PMs go directly into your Email. If they have or create a Web Site on the Ning Network then you are really susceptible to SPAM. It has happened to me twice now.
saw that user a few weeks ago. *sigh*im surprised hes lasted this long... If nothing is done we should talk to the admins and get him removed. then again, i suppose hed always come back so ignoring him is probably best methd.
That is just the latest incarnation of the same one that keeps getting kicked off every few days (7 times by my count). He is gone for now, but I am watching which of the new members sign up in the next day or two, to see who causes trouble first with the same misspellings and broken English.
I was thinking about the best way do to that without their prying eyes catching on so that they would change their tactics again is to maybe utilize the Geeks email...? I am open to suggestions.
Yep, that is what you did with me Greg about one that had popped back up. Emailing each other would be good.
I don't have any spy equipment that would work. All of my stuff dates back to my days with the company many, many years ago. :)
I can just see the troll sitting in their dirty underwear with tobacco juice running down their chin, a spit can sitting at their feet just ya hooing at their own posts.
Probably some social outcast who doesn't have anything better to do.
