Download Our Windows 7 Tips!

Well, we all know that Google is mainly THE Search Giant. But how many other services has it brought out or acquired? and how commonly used are they? Do you use them? Why?
I just want to see if people really do make them as powerful as they seem to be and maybe even label them as a monopoly.

The ones I can think of (because I use them) are:
  • Google (search engine)
  • Including:
    • Web
    • Images
    • Maps
  • YouTube
  • Gmail (my main email client)
  • Picasa (not anymore since Win 7 came out with the photo viewer > Vista's)
  • Earth (I use occasionally when I'm bored)
  • Chrome (#2 or 3 of my 5 Browsers, with Firefox being my main)
  • Google OS (If it really comes out, I'll check it out. But it might not be what I'm looking for because they have a lot of ground to make up to catch MS and Apple)

So from this list, I don't think I'm contributing to their power anymore than I am to MS or any other companies, because only 3 of those (Search, YouTube, and Gmail) are all I really actually use from them. Not Docs, Blogger, Checkout, or other random "goodies" they offer. It's just that what they do possess is very important and useful, and not to mention well done. So what's your take on Google's power?

This thought emerged after seeing a video that Brian posted in Zune80s forum discussion "Google to Offer PC Operating System."
