Is Vista As bad as Everyone Thinks!

Recently i have heard a TON of people telling me that vista has so many problems and that i shouldn't use it. Well... i have been using it for about 2 years now and i have not encountered these terrible problems that everybody speaks of. I mean, sure it messes up now and then but don't all computer? Even macs can crash. I had a friend who got a mac and it froze up the next day she used it. So overall i think vista is a pretty good operating system. But i do agree that its needs some improvments.

If you don't have an OS or GPU or Motherboard Chipset to support the difference in graphic quality, that is not the fault of DirectX10. You are off base and Mean. You can believe XP to be better, I can believe Vista to be better. Depending on the level of variability in our computers and user style, we could both be right for ourselves.

I mean, I'm not like "Wow, this is the best ever!" but, frankly all I care about in an operating system is that it runs the games and applications I plan to use. I don't care about modifying the OS, super-customization, hacking things, etc.

All I care about is "I just bought game X, install, load, play."

I have a vista and it never crashed but recently windows asked me to update my computer so i did, of coarse after wards it asks you to shut down so i did just that put it keeps asking me to shutdown. its already been 32 times i had to shut down. so i don't think vista is that good although if you buy the program and install it on a mac the true efficiency pops out. Right now my computer's score is 2.5-low but my friends mac that has vista is a 5.5-extremely high.; ▶ Reply to This
