anyone here interested in ghost hunting? i love all the ghost hunting shows --especially The Othersiders.

I've never went on field, but I know of a couple places (3 actually.. that I can think of right now) which are really worth investigating. I'm not sure if I'm courageous/fool enough to adventure there though. I know things that happened there and well.. You never know how comfortable you are at home before you went at these places I guess.; ▶ Reply to This

The three places I'm thinking of are

1- There's a very old watermill near where my father lived when he was young... Apparently that sensitive people can't stand being near that place; so full of energy. I would bet there's still a lot of people in there from what an aunt told me... I'd be very curious to go there, but I'd better get a team up for this before adventuring there.

2- There's an old psychiatric hospital I've heard of, near of here. There are lots of stories about it like there is supposed to have blood writings all over the walls written by the last people who were kept there when they gassed them (apparently). Sounds like a spooky place too.

3- Finally there's the house where my father grew up. They know who's haunting that house and they've had MANY physical manifestations. When my father's family left the house, another family bought the house and lived there for about a month. Since then it's abandoned as it is too dangerous to live there anymore. The grandma is VERY aggressive. There are lots of things she did.. from rocking a chair to breaking windows, from pushing people downstairs to appearing to people at night, making unplugged devices work, etc.

These are definitely three places I wouldn't go in alone. Too high risk of never coming out IMO. Either because I was attacked in some way, either because I went crazy! ;); ▶ Reply to This

(This part already happened to my father too.) I was sleeping, the bed by the wall, and suddenly, in the middle of the night, got awaken by a very loud sound. The only way we can describe this is ... like if a gravel truck was unloaded, from the roof, in the wall. I was totally scared. But I knew what was happening because my father already told us it happened to him. Wow... I DIDN'T MOVE! lol

The same night, I woke up the next morning and the ... dimmer... (probably not the good word; you know, the thing you screw or unscrew to block or let pass more air from the A/C) Well it was totally unscrewed from the ceiling and laying on the floor. The thing is: it's way to hard to turn to have unscrewed from there by itself and I never heard it fall... So what happened?

That was a crazy night/morning.

Also... I didn't, but other people in our house heard footsteps from one side of the house to the other (above, on the second floor), even though there are walls there... !!! From what I was told, that kind of thing happened more frequently. And I know of other manifestations, from known dead people, but that's another story.

I wouldn't say my parents' house is haunted, but I guess there's some kind of low ghost activity there. Nothing to really scare anyone, but that's interesting. It's just that due to the very low activity I don't think it would be possible to get any data (pictures, videos or sound) without recording 24/365. Maybe that calling for them would intensify the activity; seems to be the way it works, but do we really want that? :P; ▶ Reply to This

Didn't go there either, but I've got some crazy comments about that place. It's the room of a girl who does lots of satanic kind of.. celebrations or I dunno, and invocations and all that, you know, with lots of ouija and ... well..
Apparently, I have a friend which was .. a friend of that girl too... and went for sleeping one night there.. because .. well that's what friends do sometimes and she'll never sleep there again.. it was like.. worst than in movies... tv and radio turning on and off and volume getting up and down.. noises all around, steps, scratchings, etc.. things moving.. well that was ultimately scary. That's what I've heard.. I also heard things about blood running down the walls and other weird stuff.. I don't know if that might be true, but anyway.. Still a good place to investigate..
