I went Mac, but now I want to go back!

Hello, I am new geek.

I bought iMac last year, and I am dissapointed by it. It is good, it works, but it cant do almost anything my freiends windows PC can. Every little usefull app costs at least $25, freeware is bad, while my friend has loaded his PC with tons of freeware that actually works and can be used for something. I am sad, I have spent lots of money on my iMac, but I am not satisfied by it, I feel like I am tricked by apple. I would exchange my iMac for a decent windows vista computer anytime, but nobody wants to do it in my city :( Can you geeks help me find good apps for my iMac? I cant buy windows because my dad wont give me any more money.

Macs hold their value and if its only a year old you should be able to get most of your money back or you can just give it to me I'll take it I love Macs :) lol. By the way these type of topics never end well here...

He spat insult after insult at anyone who didn't agree with him, he was abusive with his posts and with his language. He didn't discuss he insulted and made the Geeks experience miserable.
