How does everyone get such high Geek status so fast?

I have a decent high Geek status considering I'm in the top 100 Geeks, but how do you get it to go so high so fast? Like to reach the status of MacBaby! I'm jealous! haha

I've said it before and I'll give the condensed version here...for some it's an ego boost which I suppose there is nothing wrong with that because in my eyes if something makes you happy and it's not hurting anyone else it's a good thing. However, to many others it's not that big of a deal. Hey, it's not like the more points you have here on Geeks the better your odds are of winning the Lotto...right?
It's just a gauge of who spends a lot of time here for better or worse, and it's not indicative of how smart, geeky, cool or what type of contributor you are here.

So if you're interested and jealous of the points because you think at some point the community is going to say....Hey that TechJohnson rocks and he must be a brilliant and helpful and I want to him...just for a day! Well, no...that won't happen based on points. That's not to say that you may or may not be brilliant and helpful...it just means that no one is going to look at the point system and think that so again....don't waste your time worrying about the points.
