You can't switch the graphics card on notebooks, the best thing you can do is run the game on bootcamp using windows. Which macbook do you have? Does it have an intel gma or an nvidia?

Don't worry i have the same graphics card (2.0 ghz macbook black) and if you run windows on bootcamp, games work pretty good.

Actually you can change some notebooks' graphics cards!

Just so you know.

Aint gonna happen with a MacBook, the graphics are an integrated chip soldered to the logic board.

How much for the graphics card and iMac? How long do you plan on keeping the MacBook?

Must yet to get a price for a new graphics card but the iMac is €1099.00 but i can get a discount so it drops the price a lot. So i think i will get the iMac but then keep my MacBook for bringing to college and what not =]

But thank you to everybody

You can now get an EVGA GTX 285 for the iMac :)

You could always update to a new MacBook or 13" MacBook Pro, both of which use the Nvidia Geforce 9400M, which despite being integrated, is a million miles better than the Intel integrated graphics.

However...for the sake of a few games I wouldn't think it was worth it.

I know how you feel. My MacBook is almost 3 years old and I still don't want to part with it.
