I started and earlier discussion reffering to my old pc that was running windows Xp 32-bit with 512 MB of RAM. It kept freezing.

http://geeks.pirillo.com/forum/topics/my-computer-keaps-freezing

so, I now realized that if I for example watch streaming video and other RAM or processor intensive activities It freezes sooner. But If I'am just browsing the Web and using the computer very lightly, It still freezes but not as fast.
So can this be a Ram issue, should I replace the Ram or if anyone knows what the issue might be can you please tell me.
Thanks.

Nowadays 512 MB of RAM is not much. I usually recommend about 2 GB of RAM for any machine. You can go to WWW.Crucial.COM and download and run the scan and the program will come back and tell you how much RAM you can install to Max out your machine. They have very reasonable prices and the New/Replacement RAM should arrive within a week after you order it.

Now as far as your freezing is concerned:

1) How often do you Defrag your Hard Drive(s)?
2) Do you have an AntiSpyware program installed? (I recommend SUPERAntiSpyware & you can download and install the Free Version)
3) Do you have an Antivirus program installed? (I have heard that Avira is pretty good and they have a Free version)
4) I also recommend SpywareBlaster. As long as you stay with the manual updating configuration it is also Free.
5) I also use CCleaner to clean up Cookies and other trace elements from Daily Internet Browsing.
