Google to Offer PC Operating System

I saw this coming a few years back, and I knew for sure that they would try it once I researched their Wave technology. It became very apparent to me at that point that their plans were to incorporate all their technology such as search, picasa, web apps, wave, widgets, gmail etc. into one big OS.

Breaking News: Google has confirmed their plans to offer OS.

I think Google is growing way too fast and becoming way too big. I'm sure it'll be a great OS, but I still think they've already gone too far. We'll see how it goes I suppose, but I suspect it won't be that popular.

As for my thoughts on Google Chrome as a browser, I don't like it. I don't know why, but I never did. It just feels too minimalistic and I found it difficult to find even the most basic features at times. Applying that to an operating system, well, I just don't like the idea.; ▶ Reply to This
