I was just reading something online and it made me start to think about random quotes or saying that people say. For example, "Absence (or distance) makes the heart grow fonder." or "Life is what happens when you are busy making plans." Things like that. I'm sure there might even be an actual name for whatever it is that they are called other than quotes or saying but I just wanted to know what some of your favorites were.
"Tomorrow isn't promised so what happens today is important."
"Distance is just a test to see how far love can travel."
"Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever."
"No man is worth your tears and the one that is will never make you cry."
I'm sure there are more and I will add them as I think of them...until then...share some of your favorites :) Please? :) haha
Animals are my friends; and I do not eat my friends.
George Bernard Shaw
I love that one. All my childhood my mother despaired trying to get me to eat meat and to consume animal products. In the 60's, having a child who only ate her veggies off the dinner plate was practically grounds for being disbarred from motherhood ;)
