truely speaking AMD is bit faster than Intel processors but when u go on performance like overlocking ,,gamming and etc the Amd processors are overheated and it may lead to death including M.B and where as in Intel no such dead's are caused . if ur fan or cooling system fails then ur Amd processor with M.B are Burnt . where as in intel it slow's down the system performance where u come across some drastic changes while using ur Pc ,,so that u can suddenly shut it down . where there is no loss of hardware .!

I've always used Intel, and had no problem with it.

And since I'm going to get a mac, I'm going to stick with Intel lol

Used to be a complete AMD fan boy, but sadly intel, since the Q6600 range are much better. So intel.
Same with ATi, now using Nvidia!

from years of repairing computers, i have found intel to be the most reliable, but im speaking of the older amd chips, amd chips used to fail more often, im sure there more reliable now, i run both amd and intel now

Nice. I've always used AMD 64 bit chips and I'm afraid to change. The new Intel i7 Core is looking pretty slick though. :)
