Do you name your computer?

I named my PC HAL9000 because it misteriously crashes even when the people who created it said that it would never fail; aslo because it only fails the worst moments causing several damages, but even with that, it's awesome.

Nice little take from 2000: Space Odyssey. I loved that book :)

Hal had to be my all time favorite character. It shows that humans can't build anything that is flawless, because we ourselves are flawed, and therefore cannot succeed in creating anything that isn't reflective of our own image.

I Couldn't agree more with you about that. It's one of my favourite books/movies of all time.

I also enjoyed the eternal debate of "can a machine have feelings? In case it hadn't, but looks like it has, would it make a difference?"

My main computer...the big evil box thats the source of everything for my other computers is called "THE D-DROID'
my aleinware laptop is called "THE MINION"
my old hp is named " THE HELL PRIEST"
