Do you generally think women look best with long or short hair?

I ran across this question and thought that it could start a good discussion here.

I myself think long hair, of course I am partial since my hair is past my butt at a little over 3 feet long (37inches).

Permalink Reply by dr.lono on January 27, 2009 at 8:24am: Being female I'd have to say it would depend on the structure of the person's face and the shape of the body that would determine whether or not a hair cut would suit them. Some girls that are thinner can pull off a "pixie" hair cut and some girls may look better with longer hair but sometimes if it's too long it will look very bad.... almost hippie looking, with super long, board straight hair.

Short = less shampoo = smaller hole in the wallet and everybody appreciates that, right? Personally, I don't like mine to get past 2 inches and short hair on women looks more pretty to me. But I digress. I prefer long hair on girls with a rounder facial structure, and short hair on girls with a more slender facial structure but they also have to be able to pull it off.
