I personally don't think there's relevance in having older/younger dating ages... if people mach, they match regardless of their age. But, a majority of people think there are arbitrary age limits.
I've seen that stupid formula that's been passed around that says something about 7 years, but that's all nonsense.
I was watching a sitcom and a 36 year old had gone on a date with someone 18, and she found out and was like, "gross!" I was confused, because I didn't see that as a problem.
I sure hope there's not some societal cutoff... I'm in my 30's but I've never met a 30-something in person that I've been attracted to- I'm still attracted to a ton of 20-somethings. I don't see 12, 15 or 17 years as big deal. If a person is smart and mature, and you share interests... why should it matter?
My father and stepmother are quite a few years apart, and my first boss was 15 years older than her "husband" (they were never officially married, but considered themselves to be so.)
Just curious if people think there are age cutoffs, and why!
