Did anyone catch my interest. Well growing up with my dad who is a teacher. That right there sort of well Put me in the geek realm without a choice somewhat. And the other person is my brother. We were really close when I was growing up. I always asked him silly computer questions while he was making count the stars program on an apple 2e. Or just other random computer questions as the years went along. I was thirsty for computer knowledge. Cause he was always doing something. And I had nothing to do. Usually this was also on Sundays. As a younger child I was not allowed to leave the house on Sunday. I believe he was around 11 and I was 9.

As for my dad. I started what I would call my art stuff at around 3 or 4. I colored with my dad like it was part of my religion every sunday. We always had a coloring book. And we colored two pages that were next to each other every sunday. From probably about 3-11 or 12.

As for my mom. I would say she is the reason for my music geekness. She always listened to a lot of different kinds of music when we were driving around in the car. And I drove around a lot in the car with her when I was a little kid.

AS for my dad actually drawing or really anyone in my family for that matter the talent does not exist other then me and well my cousin. I am sure there are others in my extended family but she is the only one I know for sure.

As the saying goes, "curiosity killed the cat", but in my case, its the other way around, curiousity open my mind to discover things. In happened a long time ago, when i was small kid 20yrs+++ ago LOL, on my chinese schoolmate house, when my friend introduced me to use ABACUS... All of us will agree, that computers started from scratch, like from a humble grassroot level.. since then, my interest to computers never stopped.

My dad is kind of a geek. When I was around 8 years old he learned me html, javascript and some more of that basic stuff. Nowdays (16 years old) he is into php, mysql etc.. and he learns me some of that stuff to :).

It all started when I started reading Amstrad Action magazines (i.e. for an 8-bit computer I had) back in the 80's as a kid. I read them from cover-to-cover, and also learned programming from them.

All natural. I played on the computer at school in 3rd grade. I wanted to open it up and see what was inside. I remember having this huge grin on my face. I guess I've always been a fan of hardware.
