Condolences for Friends and Family of Gerald Smith

Just a few short days ago, we posted news that one of our community members, Gerald Smith, had been missing from his college campus for several days. There were many searches conducted, to no avail. We asked all of you to help spread the word - and you came through beautifully.

I'm heartbroken to have to report to you all that Gerald's body was found not long ago.

Our heartfelt prayers, wishes, thoughts, strength and condolences go out to Gerald's friends, family and classmates at this time. I know I speak on behalf of the ENTIRE Geeks and Lockergnome family when I say that.

You may leave your condolences in this thread. Perhaps Gerald's mom and family will draw some strength, knowing Gerald was cared about, and a part of a large and loving family here.

Words cannot describe just how painful it must feel to loose someone who is close to you. His death was made even more tragic by the fact that he was so young and had so much potential. I truly feel touched by this tragedy, that someone who is a member of our community has now gone. Despite Gerald not being around in the body any more, I hope that our community will make sure that he lives on within our hearts, forever.
