Condolences for Friends and Family of Gerald Smith

Just a few short days ago, we posted news that one of our community members, Gerald Smith, had been missing from his college campus for several days. There were many searches conducted, to no avail. We asked all of you to help spread the word - and you came through beautifully.

I'm heartbroken to have to report to you all that Gerald's body was found not long ago.

Our heartfelt prayers, wishes, thoughts, strength and condolences go out to Gerald's friends, family and classmates at this time. I know I speak on behalf of the ENTIRE Geeks and Lockergnome family when I say that.

You may leave your condolences in this thread. Perhaps Gerald's mom and family will draw some strength, knowing Gerald was cared about, and a part of a large and loving family here.

There is nothing anyone can say to make this better, but I have a feeling that this community as a whole is really hurt by this. I only found out about this, this morning and feel as if I should have been paying closer attention.
