Community Member Missing - Your Help is Needed

A long-time community member and Geeks contributor, Gerald Smith has been missing since Friday night. Gerald's mother contacted me today, in the hopes that someone in our community may hear from him.

I know that many of you don't live anywhere near Indiana, where Gerald is from. He attends school at Indiana State University. My assistant Kat happens to live less than an hour from the college, and plans to contact his mother to offer her help in any way that may be needed.

I'm not asking you to reach out to join in the search, especially since you likely don't live nearby. What I AM asking of you is to pull together as a community. Spread the word. Pass on the link to this post, the YouTube video... anything. Tweet the link, throw it on your MySpace, email your network. Let's help find Gerald and bring him home for his college graduation in a few days.

To Gerald's family, friends and classmates: Our thoughts, wishes and prayers are with all of you right now as the search continues. Please know that the power of community is strong, and we will do everything in our power to help.

We would like to have this ONE thread posted only, where all information can be shared and posted. That way, everything is kept in one place in case it is ever needed.
