Cataclysm - World of Warcraft Expansion

Im starting this discussion about the upcoming WoW expansion Cataclysm. I myself am getting mixed feelings about this wow expansion. Are they putting in to much to little? You people who like to research lore what do you think about there mistake with Deathwing?

You can't have the best selling game of all time with as many users as they have without making things up and adding on to stories later on.

"This expansion will destroy the game..." Do you know how many times this has been said about the previous two xpacs? Millions of times and yet.... People still play and pay them monthly.; ▶ Reply to This

Things are going to be very, very different around Azeroth, yes. But why is that automatically a bad thing? If we kept it all the same, it would get quite boring. Shake things up, make them new and different, and keep having fun.; ▶ Reply to This

Defiantly looking forward to flying everywhere, but curious to how they will keep the gameplay for the people who havn't brought the patch.. the same/slightly altered quests?

What I think they should do is put more interactivity into the game. Like allow for a better more enriching experience for those that do PVP and RP. They need to strengthen the storyline, I know its an MMO but they can develop a more dramatical story for those that like that. The quests too are the same old quests and are boring.

They also need to do this and you tell me if you agree or not. They need to seriously reward veteran WoW players with more than just some unique pet. I like the pets don't get me wrong but it would be nice if they sent in some nice weapons or armor to those people that have stuck with them for such a long time, that would get me to play more and it would motivate new players to stick with WoW.
