Can any discussion on Geeks be done without negativity taking over?

I am like everyone else on here, I create discussions, blogs and participate in others, but usually, no matter what is posted, we always end up with people being negative, rude or just unable to be polite!

Why do you think this is? Of course, you are not allowed to be negative in your responses!

I don't think it CAN BE DONE!!!!

I dunno man, I try my best to not be mean, there are just certain things that get under my skin.
-When people don't edit. I mean, I'm not an English major but I at least take the time to try and make sure my post are readable.

I get like that sometimes, and it can be worse if a relaxing beer has been taking and the fingers type and the brain shuts down! It's being able to come back and say "sorry for being an a**" that can be hard for some folk.

In some peoples books, simply stating facts is "negative", in which case I have no time for the "rose colored glasses" crowd.
