Automated Ubuntu install

I'm looking for a way to automate a ubuntu install. And then I mean that I just pop in the cd it boots from there and the install goes all the way. I would love it if there isn't a monitor needed and it automaticly enabled VNC, so I don't have to unplug one of my desktop monitors.. I want to know this for some old computers.
