So i know a little C++, and am super into mac, and mac apps, and want to start writing them, i have often found it easier to learn somethin with a friend opposed to on your own...anyone want to learn a language with me?
I have some experience with Mac programming, although my career is currently in Windows development. Sounds like a good idea to me. If you are going to write Mac applications, make sure you look into Objective-C as well. Objective-C is an extension to standard C to include object oriented principals.
Objective-C is defiantly the way to go, an as you already know a bit of C++ it should be a little easier to pick up. Make sure you try to familiarize yourself with the suite of developer applications for the Mac, not just the language. Make sure you learn about things such as Bindings in Interface Builder, and lookup things that could be done in IB rather than code, such as NSObject subclassing, as this will save you a great deal of time!
I would, but I'm using windows currently. And I'm not a fan of macs. If you still want to chat and see if you still want to work then drop me a line at Ross-Chambers@hotmail.co.uk
I may even begin to write Apple stuff...
Ok, so I changed my Display Picture, played some GTA and had a slice of toast...
...
...Ok, Skype is downloading now, but I won't be able to use the voice feature for 3 reasons:
No mike, my speakers (a set of headphones :P) dont work with IMs, and my voice isn't cool enough to be on the internet.
thats hilarious. Come on, it could be a few of us, learning this together...this is the greatest time for idea, i just want to be able to produce the idea when the right one comes.
Ok. I've got it downloaded, and I've added an account thingy.

Y'all can add me and we can code. We need to agree on a compiler I think. Don't we.
