Alternatives to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007

Alright so this is my new post...i hope this clears it up
I am looking for Any alternatives to Exchange Server 2007 and what you think about them
If you could help me by telling a little bit about the software that you suggest that would be great. (and guide me with where to find it and if it's free or how much it costs)
