Airport Extreme Port Mapping Help Needed

So here's the issue. I've got my IPv4 static, I set that as my Private IP when trying to port map, and i put the desired port (3979) as both Private and Public TCP and UDP. The port still shows as being closed, even after i update the router settings constantly. Any help would be much appreciated.
