awesome...I think...I would love to be a software engineer...what's a typical day at work?

My degrees are in Marketing and Accounting. I worked for several years as the Comptroller/General Manager for a playground equipment manufacturing company. The job was amazing, and paid very well... but was seriously stressful every single day.

I now have a way cooler job... that doesn't even use either degree. ;-)

Take care.

I have a two year degree with six months of intership in Interior Design.

It made it possible for me to go to work for a commercial design firm doing restaurants and hotels.

Afterward, I did consulting work of builders.

As far as computers are concerned, I have taught myself a lot in the last eleven years.

2 years of electronics schools in the Navy, and 2 year degree in Computer Science. 8 years in the Navy, and a total of 15 years as Network Admin / District Network Tech / IT Helpdesk; now I am professionally unemployed ...??!! I mean a consultant (Yikes, that was close - now I am politically correct).

I have an Associates Degree from a community college. I started out as help desk and stayed their for 2 years before moving into Systems Administration (at my former job, there were three groups, Software Devolpment, Network Administration, and Systems Administration) I got deep into email administration and security.
