What video format was the file?

Another way is to upload it on youtube and HTML 'embed' code from any popular video site and add that video to geeks

Just a FYI. Geeks.pirillo.com support .mov, .mpg, .avi, .3gp and .wmv file formats. It also has a 100 MB file size max.

I have the same problem every time no matter what browser i use when I upload .avi format. I just upload to Youtube and get the embed code and add the video that way.
