Pugs or French Bulldogs!
They are the best!

Huskies require dedicated handling, they are not a city dog -- though people here like to keep them as such and I believe that is cruelty and the dog should be relocated to an area where it is cold and they can run because the reasons huskies are so mischievous is because they acquire pent up energy. They are of the Working Dog class and require more than frequent exercise to maintain proper weight and above all -- mood, which is why they turn on their owner if they get bored.

Where I live is really hot. And people like to keep huskies here. All the huskies you can see aroung are in really bad shape. Sad...

They do not acquire the proper exercise because of the heat. Their coats are not designed for hotter climates, and they shed more in such.

For your school list I will say German Shepard. What a noble dog with a great history. Of course I grew up watching Rin Tin Tin, and we all wanted German Shepards when I was young. I have never owned a German Shepard but have known people who have and people who raised them. Dalmatian's can be difficult breeds. Many tend to be one family dogs. Good luck with your project.

My favorite is not on the list.

Anyways, it's dobermann. ;)
