Geeks!

What is your favorite linux distro and please feel free to elaborate. Tell us your experience with it and why you enjoy it so much. I personally love linux in general, but as of right now I'm using my own modified version of ubuntu.

well atm i am using openSUSE on my lappy, but i have to say i am not impressed i a thinking about either going back to Easy Peasy or trying gOS

I use gOS and love it. Mainly because its unique and different, its one of the few Linux distros not to use the GNOME or KDE interface opting for the Enlighten UI which is very sweet. It also looks like OS X to some extent, it has a dock which is very nice. Instead of having 2 bars it has a 'G' icon at the top which is like the menu and no bottom bar, the programs running appear next to the 'G' which gives you more screen space and makes the OS tidy. Although, you can't beat Ubuntu's add/remove program tool. Its really fab, everyone has the Linux distro that works for them and I've found mine; gOS.

Linux Mint :D
I have tried ubuntu, kubuntu, studio ubuntu, stoner edition and Linux mint has been the most stable Os i've tried. I really want to try debian and others. Or the desktops xD especially Beryl.

Linux Mint ( http://www.linuxmint.com/ )
It's based on Ubuntu, so guess how smooth it can be to install and run. :)
I've installed it on 4 or 5 computers yet and I've been surprised about how many drivers I had to care about (one in fact.. on 4 PCs). Nothing to do with when I first discovered Linux! :D
