WHITE MACBOOK EXPERATION DATE: 2008? THE ANSWER IS NO!

With rumors flying around the net about the soon to be released Macbook and/or Macbook Pro. I was just wondering how many of you think that the signature white pristine macbook will be going the way of the dinosaur? Personally, I sure hope that it will live on, if for no other reason then the fact that it is one of the last all white Apple products and that is how they all got their start. ( I could be wrong about that) I have been flip-flopping between wanting a macbook or macbook pro. and I finally decided (don't hold me to it) on the white macbook because I also, one day would like to own an imac and I don't see the need for having a pro and an imac. The white macbook says look at me I am APPLE 101. Clean, Classy, and Smart, at least that is what they say whenever I talk with one. My hope is that the look will stay the same but everything else will be better and lower in price. A 15in. white macbook would really make me smile but I don't think that will happen. What do you think?

From what I've seen, the aluminum MB Pro's and even the black MacBooks all have the "classic" white power adapter, and the Front Row remote (now sold separately) is also white. I can understand the Mighty Mouse requiring plastic purely for functionality, but doesn't it clash somewhat with Apple's new aesthetic? And the aluminum wireless keyboard has the white, chicklet-style keys of the plastic MacBook.

Changing the look of the adapters and stuff will cost a lot both to redesign then send them out, and for folk to buy them. They use the same connectors on each range of products so the white will blend with them all really if you think about it. Why fix something if it isn't broken? hehe.; ▶ Reply to This

It will always have the "expensive" look, that's why I own a white one and didn't buy the black one (which is awful to my opinion).

Apple HAS released the new MacBooks which looks very nice, but they really seems to the eye like the HP Pavilion computer line which is BAD.

I say, which you have no choice, go for the Aluminum MacBook, the laptop will still be pretty enough to attract looks in the coffee shop :D, go for power other than design.; ▶ Reply to This
