WHITE MACBOOK EXPERATION DATE: 2008? THE ANSWER IS NO!

With rumors flying around the net about the soon to be released Macbook and/or Macbook Pro. I was just wondering how many of you think that the signature white pristine macbook will be going the way of the dinosaur? Personally, I sure hope that it will live on, if for no other reason then the fact that it is one of the last all white Apple products and that is how they all got their start. ( I could be wrong about that) I have been flip-flopping between wanting a macbook or macbook pro. and I finally decided (don't hold me to it) on the white macbook because I also, one day would like to own an imac and I don't see the need for having a pro and an imac. The white macbook says look at me I am APPLE 101. Clean, Classy, and Smart, at least that is what they say whenever I talk with one. My hope is that the look will stay the same but everything else will be better and lower in price. A 15in. white macbook would really make me smile but I don't think that will happen. What do you think?

I have a second generation white MacBook from last year and I love it. I also have an iBook G3 and it's an amazing contrast. So I look forward to seeing the next great design.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Mad Max on October 7, 2008 at 4:05pm: Looking at the new Nano range, my guess is they'll possibly go aluminium accross the whole range and give us a nice selection of colours, which would be pretty awesome. I'd love a black aluminium MacBook Pro! It'd also be nice for them to put the same trackpad as the Air and Pro on ALL MacBooks, for the full gesture set and maybe a little price drop to be that bit more competetive with the erm... competition lol. I've always prefered matte finishes for some reason, glossy stuff looks a little tacky to me, don't ask me why. In white it's fine, but black... eww, reminds me of cheap and nasty PC cases! The black MacBook is matte mind, so Apple seem to know what they're doing lol.; ▶ Reply to This
