aged look? Linux doesn't have a look, its the UI package that you install... that a look at Compiz Beryl and tell me that it looks "aged!"

I guess you were talking to me. I love audacity. And I love VLC, Orthos is I believe strictly a wall paper player. I like the choice of undocking the video if I need my monitor to be less busy IE: Working on photos.

I tried audacity and found it horrible.
Never liked the interface and its not rich in features either.
Try REAPER instead
