Linux= Terminal of course then Fire Fox usually
Mac Osx= Activity Monitor then Dashboard then Terminal and finally one of my many web browsers on mac

I think mine are Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Mail and Firefox.

Once in a while since I leave my computer on, I start up Yahoo Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, and then Firefox

iTunes on my computer automatically launches along with a Yahoo! Widget that controls it.

I usually manually launch Pidgin, Skype, and sometimes Windows Live Messenger if there's a feature in it missing from Pidgin I think I'll need.

I then launch either Firefox or Chrome depending on my mood, the weather, and what website I'm going to visit (which is almost always either iGoogle or Gmail just after I boot).
