Here is the latest from the guys over at Microsoft. As many of you have witnessed, the first ad was somewhat confusing, but had some relatively funny moments. I've always loved Jerry Seinfeld so I might be a little bit biased towards theses ads, but either way I really like this newest one, I see their message and they pretty much say flat out that they are "trying to get closer to people"
This ad is very different from the first one so if you didn't like the first one, give this second one a chance and let us know what you think. Here are both of the ads in case you missed the first one.
I don't really like them. Most of the commercial makes no sense, or its too filled with symbolism and turn-of-phrases to make a real connection with people. I think people who like Windows will stick with Windows, and those that don't like Windows won't be impressed.
Haha, these ads really are like a sitcom, that's why I like them I think. I also love how awkward Gates is sometimes when it comes to acting, Jerry is obviously used to it so it's fun to compare the two.
It's funny but nothing hysterical. I don't get message. Are they connecting people (which is Nokia's slogan) or connecting with people? Why would they try to connect with people now?
They should give me them $300 mil, I'll buy Apple with that money and then make an iLookAtMeIPownedMicrosoftPodTouchPhone That will be 20 years ahead of its time with the funniest brand name ever!

The first one = absolutely rubbish and nothing to do with Microsoft apart from Bill Gates. Second one = Long Pointless and nothing to do with Bill Gates.
