yup. many bands say that. i think underØath even said in an interview "stop calling us a screamo band, we are christian metalcore. we preach gods word through our music, and the style is metalcore!"

true,haha,screamo is emo with screams,that is what i know about the genre.Post-Hardcore bands are also mistaken for Screamo,which is really really wrong.

yeah. my family, when i first got into metalcore and post hardcore, asked me "whats this screamo shit?" to which i angerally replied "its christian metalcore, and its not shit. you want shit, turn on mix 95.1 or pop in one of alexis's hannah montanna or jo bros cds" then alexis goes to her room, blasts jonas brothers, while i blast underØath, drowning her out. cant beat me in terms of loud music.
