Should Apple Drop Prices?

I'm curious to know what your thoughts are on this.

Do you think Apple should drop their prices (at least for a little while) due to what's happening with our economy until it can somewhat pick up?

It didn't go up for a second that day. And its still going down. People don't really have the money to spend on a $2000 dolor laptop right now. A drop would be nice.; ▶ Reply to This

Maybe a price drop on the consumer Macs would be a good move. I can't see how they could make the MacPros much cheaper than they are right now though, for what you get in those things they're VERY well priced in all fairness. Even building your own with the same bits or equivilent wouldn't save you all that much, plus you'd have to put something other than OSX on it without all the nice bundled software Macs come with.; ▶ Reply to This

If someone quickly needs a computer, they'll go buy one of those £399 ones.
They wont go "Oh, I know! I'll buy a £1099 Mac!".
