I think that is a newer computer, right? If it is the one im thinking about it should be able to support the newer video cards witch usually plug into a PCI express slot, so your Pc should definitely have one or more of those. So really the process of upgrading is really simple, you just find the card you want say at

or

then all you have to do is open up your pc take the old card out and put the new one in. Its really simple you should have no problems at all.

I got it in 2005. I'm not sure what you would consider newer, but would it be newer?

That model doesn't have any expansion slots for graphics cards.

Even if it did, it would have been AGP probably. That's an old system.

If you want to keep it comparable with computers of today, I would recommend at least getting more RAM than the 256mb it ships with.

i have an E310, and really like it. I have added (2) BFG NVIDIA GeForce 6200 256mb cards and run 5 monitors off of it with no prob. The thing you need to watch out for is you have to get a PCI and not a PCI-e x16. Your E310 doesnt have a slot for the X16

i also upped the ram to 2gb from crucial.com

Depends on your system, if it's compatible.

If you want an opinion on the video card, get an nVidia.
