For Geeks: Black or White?

For a while now, we've had the black background running throughout the site. However, I'm considering a slight change for the default view. You obviously know the "black" template, but what I'm considering is the theme I have running on my personal profile:

What say you - black or white for now?

I'd much prefer a curved-border header, and flanking fading sidebars... keep the white interior, hard line black, then fading into white to the edges - it'd really make the foreground POP.
