2009 PlayStation Home Music Video Contest

Announcing the 2009 Playstation Home Music Video Contest.

Incentive: Make a music video using the Sony Playstation Home 3D virtual environment for a chance to win a $50 or $20 PSN Card/redeem code.

Music Video Submission Requirements

Only one entry per person will be accepted (any subsequent entries will not be considered). To enter, upload or embed your Home Music Video at http://playstationhometoday.com .

Each participant must create their music video in Home in any genre (e.g. Alternative, Country,Electronic/Dance/Blues, Rap/Hip Hop/R&B/Pop, & etc) and upload the video file to PlayStationHome Today or insert the embed code from video sharing site like YouTube or Google Videos. Each video may up to 100MB in size. The following video formats are supported: .mov, .mpg, .avi, .wmv, & .3gp. The length of the music video must be no more than 10 minutes. Note: Videos can be taken of Home using camcorder, camera phone, or TV capture device like Pinnacle Video Transfer and then use a video editing program like Windows Movie Maker (free with all Windows OS) to edit your video.

*Be sure to credit the artist and name of song in your video.

Each participant agrees and grants the Sponsor permission to make available and display/perform and otherwise distribute entrant's video submission in all media in perpetuity without compensation.

Contest Submission Deadlines.
Entries must be submitted to PlayStation Home Today Video section. When your video is uploaded or embedded add the tag (2009 Home Music Video Contest between January 30, 2009 at 12:00 am EST and February 28, 2008 at 11:59 PM EST to be eligible to win.

Winner Selection.
One (1) grand prize winner and one (1) runner up will be selected from among all eligible entries received.

Judging Criteria. Music videos will be judged on creativity and innovation.

Prizes.
The grand prize winner will receive a $50 PSN card/redeem code.
The runner up will receive a $20 PSN card/redeem code.

Winner notification.
The winners will be notified via email on March 20, 2009. The winners will be posted on the
PlayStation Home Today Blog. (http://playstationhometoday.com/profiles/blog/list) and posted on
Machinima.com
